Cessna Plane
TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale’s salvage team responded aboard the Richard L. Becker to Bimini, Bahamas, to recover a downed aircraft. Lift bags were used to raise the fuselage to the surface, allowing the crew to rig lifting straps. Using the vessel’s knuckle boom crane, the team hoisted the aircraft onto the deck and secured it for transport. The Richard L. Becker then returned stateside, where the aircraft was offloaded for inspection.
