Piper PA28
A Piper PA28 crash-landed in a retention pond just outside a South Florida executive airport. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale used a land-based crane to deploy their 16' aluminum response boat, loaded with salvage gear. Divers rigged lift bags to refloat the aircraft and towed it to shore. Once in position along the shoreline, the crane lifted the plane from the pond onto a flatbed truck for transport and inspection.
